8 of us hooked up in pairs for mahjong last nite at becky's! I was actually half asleep. si-fu becky had to deal with my blur state--> i missed 2 of josh's tiles, and in another round, ended up with only 12 tiles *shock horror*. our starting figure was what- 10 cents?? too little, people! next time, one buck! anyhow, the best team for the night turned out to be.. The UNCLes! hoot! not bad, consdering they just sat there in silence without strategising between themselves. the power of physical approximity..

there was another bimbotic event to the night. J and i felt like idiots after we did something real dumb. it was a friday night, hence pretty impossible to find a parking spot in the city. we spent like an hour circling LT Collins n Queens & were pretty much desperate for a spot. At one point, we were waiting at a non-parking spot while waiting for someone to shift their car. it took us minutes after we left the spot (which now had been taken), to realise it REALLY was a PARKING spot! the damnness... both of us are still feeling kinda stupid about it.. grin
