shopaholics

shopaholics

There is a distinct difference between the way a typical guy and a typical girl shops. I think adding the word TYPICAL is necessary to depict reality, that is, that some guys and girls get mixed up between the fuzzy categories behaviourly/emotionally *smiles*

Take me and my girls for example. A day of shopping is like a long awaited holiday. Paradise itself flourishes around us with each step we take as we OOHH and Ahhh to the myriads and myriads of collections of jackets, jeans, tanks and delicate shoes! even when it isnt a planned day of shopping, we manage to find a way to shop- a top snatched up here and later on we come up with meek excuse to delude ourselves its fine to buy the things we want--> 'it was on sale'!

Now, guys differ totally. Shopping is more of a one off thing, not a weekly addiction. But a good shopping expedition it usually is. When its a shopping spree, a spree it is and much needed things are packed on all the way if possible! (this is especially popular during the stocktake season). A stark difference between guys and girls too, is the money spent on a single item. Guys splurge on the big things (which they have like 3 minute attention spans on) while we girls pick up the 5 dollar trinkets. I have come to the conclusion that guys just fail to understand the highs experienced when a girl shops (neither can we understand your penchant for cars and sport jargon, so we're pretty much even *chuckle*). For those of you guys who enjoy shopping as much as the female class, Double hOots for you, it's always pleasurable shopping with you!

Lastly, i wanna dedicate this blog to darling diana, who recently acquired a fascinating addiction for E-bay.... Dont buy yourself poor *smile*
